Mr. Oyewole Olatoye
PRESIDENT (2008-2010)
Oye. T. Olatoye came into the United States of America January 1980 after a two-year stint in Europe. Married with four children, Oye currently resides in Columbus, Ohio where he is an Owner/Operator of four McDonald’s restaurants. Prior to relocating to Columbus, Ohio, Oye Operated one McDonald’s restaurant for seven years @ 3050 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.
Oye. T. Olatoye holds an MBA in Accounting from Cleveland State University. With a professional certification as a CPA, he worked for then big six accounting firm, Peat Marwick, Main as an auditor and the experience gained during those years propelled him to start his own accounting/tax practice while continuing to be engaged in various other businesses such as Deputy Registrar for the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and another retail establishment in Euclid, Ohio.

As a 15 year veteran of the McDonald’s system, Oye. Currently chairs the Profit Committee of the Columbus McDonald’s market with a total of 126 restaurants in the market. On a national level, he is President of the Ohio Region McDonald’s Owner/Operator Association and has responsibility for ensuring alignment with the National Black McDonald’s Owner/Operator Association.
An avid golfer, Oye’s passion for the game came as a result of watching Tiger Woods in the late 1990s. Growing up in a culture that expects you to be the best in all you do, I saw Tiger in the world of Golf representing that and the skills he possessed was worth emulating. I took to golf and now, a good day includes a day on the links, if it’s not snowing!
Success in all I have accomplished is without doubt the fact that I have been blessed with a partner, Adefunke, who has also gone through the growing pains days with me.
